SHOP Sweetfire Road/Jackie MacDonald

Jackie MacDonald of Sweetfire Road is a designer living in coastal Maine with roots in the Blue Ridge mountains of Virginia. She enjoys making her home, shared by husband Neil and son Sammy, a comforting haven. When designing, she takes cues from things that evoke warm memories. Seasonal treats such as jewel-toned pumpkins in the fall and freshly colored Easter eggs in the spring make her so ridiculously happy (which just makes us here in the Woods, giggle with the same joy!).  She also credits little mementos from family adventures like feathers and pressed flowers are treasures as constant sources of inspiration.
