SHOP Aneela Hoey

Aneela studied printed textile design at Winchester School of Art before working at design studios in  both London and New York as well as freelance work.  She began designing fabric for Moda in 2010, with lines including Sherbet Pips, Little Apples, A Walk In The Woods, Posy and Cherry Christmas. Aneela's design work usually starts out with hand drawn sketches and artwork before being recreated in either Illustrator or Photoshop.  She loves designing digitally so that she can play around with colour, form and layout to create something interesting.

Aneela is well known for her dynamic patterns for sewing organizers - pouches, totes, boxes and cases that can be sewn up and used to hold tools and supplies for stitching projects.  She's also the author of several books.
